We finally did it! We took our first official family picture and I'm very happy with the way they came out. It took us a while to finally get this done, we had wanted to do it last year around this time but with the way things worked out and with Dewey being in the hospital it just didn't happen. We never really got to do it and I regret it so much. So this year, as soon as the opportunity came up, I jumped at it and I am so glad I did! So here they are!!!!

There they are! I think they came out great! Thanks to Sandra Flores Photography for the amazing shots! We plan on taking some again in December so that we can turn them into holiday cards and send them out for Christmas! Now that is two things I was finally able to get done that I always wanted to do, taking family pictures and sending out Christmas cards. This is definitely the year for firsts!
Also, this year we had announced that we had re-scheduled our religious wedding date to May 21st next year from our original date of 10/10/10. It's funny how you make plans and work them out so many times that they play out perfectly in your mind right! You all know what I mean. And we all know what happens when you plan and plan and plan.....
Something always manages to happen to make those plans fly out the window. So here we are again, back to the drawing board. You guessed it! The wedding is going to have to be postponed once more, but this time for a good reason.....

Yes, you are all thinking what we meant for you to think! We are expecting our first baby! I said this was the year of firsts, I wasn't kidding! We have been wanting to announce it to everyone we knew but decided on waiting for the first trimester to pass. Now that it has and actually went past a couple of weeks, we finally sat down and set up this blog. I had been contemplating starting one for a while now but hadn't decided what to focus on. Well, what better than start it off with announcing our first pregnancy! And writing about all the blessings I have going on in our lives and our growing family.
